Unlike our other meat packs, where you pay upfront for the total, Veal is ordered by paying a deposit – then we charge the remaining sum to you upon delivery which you will have 4 days to fix up.
All our Milk Fed Vealers are sourced from the Turnbulls Dairy which is just down the road from Dad’s farm in Gresford. They have been there for so long the road is officially called Turnbull Road! The Turnbull’s grow out their excess dairy calves for us by feeding them milk fresh from the dairy. Should the calve want to chew on something solid they have access to shredded hay. They do not feed their calves grains.
Their excess male dairy calves (many of which are dairy x angus) are extremely well looked after and then, at between 3-5 months of age, are professionally processed for true veal not the darker ‘yearling beef’ being passed off as veal you see in sydney shops. The Turnbulls Veal is “True Veal” or as some would know it “European Veal”.
