Organic Certified Kale is a rich source of many nutrients and is perfect for juicing or adding shredded leaves to mashed potatoes, stir fries, soups or pasta. Bake, boil, braise, microwave, sautéed, steam, stew, stir-fry or stuff!
Sadly conventional kale are a member of the dirty dozen making them one of the most common vegetables to contain the most pesticides which is why organic is so important!
Kale is full of nutrients and can be cooked in a similar way to cabbage. Try dehydrating for a crispy snack! Fresh Kale has crisp green leaves with firm stalks.
Preparation:
- Remove loose and any discoloured leaves.
- Remove leaves from stalks, wash well.
- Shred or coarsely chop if required.

Storage: Kale is best stored in a paper bag in the fridge. Keep away from high ethylene producing fruits & vegs like apples, bananas, tomatoes and avocados as like broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower, kale is ethylene sensitive.
